Train To Hire
Postponed Due to COIVD-19
We use our Train to Hire program to educate trainees to redevelop dilapidated properties and to enhance the communities we serve. We train these individuals in the following topics and activities: occupational safety and health training, exterior and interior renovation of housing, introduction to carpentry training, green renovation training, interior demolition, introduction to blueprint reading, mold remediation, lead remediation, and introduction to protective equipment.
Homegrown Gardens
Postponed Due to COIVD-19
Under this program, individuals will learn new food health and urban gardening skills they can incorporate into their daily lives. The goal of this program is to promote healthy lifestyles and eating habits in our participants. There is a severe need for programs of this type in urban areas classified as food deserts, where fresh foods are not readily available. This training will allow them to get hands-on gardening experience and gain the skills needed to become self-sufficient and capable of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Move The Youth
Postponed Due to COIVD-19
We believe the youth in urban areas are talented beyond measures and need an environment that encourages expression, exercise, teaches group dynamics, and character building. This program is a two-hour dance and academic tutoring program that promotes fitness and fights academic regression encountered by COVID-19. We believe the best way to engage the youth is by allowing them to do what they love.
